Our Past Events - A Bookish Time in Cambridge on Saturday 13th of September
Here we immersed ourselves in the world of Douglas Adams’ ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ with watercolours, book chat, wine, good food, the gorgeous city of Cambridge and most of all the swapping of good stories.
Shopping for Flowers in Bloomsbury on Saturday 11th October
Today we spent the day following in the footsteps of The Bloomsbury Group. We indulged in a day of lino printing at the gorgeous St George’s Church. Our prints were inspired by Virginia Woolf’s sister, Vanessa Bell and everyone was delighted with their results. We wandered, like Mrs Dalloway shopping for flowers, through the streets of Bloomsbury in North London, chatting and swapping stories. We ate, drank, made art and took in all the beauty of Bloomsbury. Mrs Dalloway would have been proud.
